It operates 365 days a year on a 24-hour basis. For women victims of all kinds of gender-based violence, domestic violence, women who have been subjected to sexual harassment, attempted rape or rape, women who have been victims of prostitution or trafficking, etc. The line can also be used by citizens and institutions to obtain information on issues related to the prevention and treatment of violence against women. The target group of all structures has been expanded to include not only women victims of gender-based violence but also women victims of multiple discrimination (refugees, single parents, Romani people, women with disabilities, etc.).

It is staffed with specialized Social Workers and Psychologists and is addressed to those who face difficulties or problems of a psychosocial nature, but mainly addressed to individuals, families and vulnerable population groups, who are going through some form of crisis or in a state of emergency, such as, for example, victims of domestic violence, adults and elderly people in need of immediate psychological support and social assistance, people in crisis and/or at risk of harm, victims of trafficking for sexual or economic exploitation, victims of natural and other disasters, etc. It operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week and all year round.

Following an official request, Vodafone Greece ensured zero charges to the five-digit number 11528, from mobile prepaid or mobile contract numbers and from Vodafone prepaid mobile phones even without a balance.
